Objective: Senior Project. Mission: Complete!!

It's the truth!! I'm all done. I passed my senior project Thursday evening and it felt gooood! For my project I taught swimming lessons and ended up making a little instructional video about teaching lessons. Here is the whoooooollllle story behind my project and the journey I went through in completing it.

I got my senior project approved before the summer of my sophomore year because I knew what I wanted to do by then and I figured that if I was going to work on it at all that summer I would want the hours to count. Well...I didn't work on it or even think about it.

Towards the end of last school year I started thinking about it again and found myself a guinnea pig to do the dirty work. Her name is Althea Rolfe and she if fo yeas ol. She is a totall crack up and totally down for having fun, which helps for sure! We started lessons during the summer and part way through she broke her arm. Not fun for her, annnnd it wasn't helping my project out any because she couldn't be in the water for 4 weeks or so. Once we got lessons started up again she got attacked by dogs while she was at a birthday party with her family. Unfortunately she has a gnarley scar on her little face now :( After she healed up from that one we started lessons again.

I gave her a couple sessions (2 weeks at a time) and each lesson was an hour long. Basically we had a great time everyday. She was an awesome student and I was able to make a sweet project about it.

Now it's over!! and I get to have a life! Hurray!! It's pretty weird that this whole thing has came to an end. I've had this thing lingering over my head for a couple years now and I guess I am sort of lost without this huge project to worry about. I think the only substitute is to have FUN!!

Thanks for reading! Congradulations to all of my friends and classmates who passed theirs as well.

Sam
